Jersey Brain Tumour Charity

Receiving a brain tumour diagnosis is life changing, initially it takes some time to absorb this information for patients, family and friends.

What can you do to help and support? The simple answer is to be there and offer emotional and practical support, and more importantly listen

At point of diagnosis there are lots of questions that need to answered, and many of these are unknown until a conversation with the Neuro Surgery team.

Normality is key. By asking how are you? may not help, as there is not a normal response. This is an unknown journey, and positivity and empathy are required.
