Volunteering is a great way for you to make use of your skills, get involved in your local community, meet new people and gain valuable experience while supporting the work of the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity.
By volunteering, you can help us make sure that anyone with a Brain Tumour in Jersey has somewhere to turn for advice and support.
Anyone can volunteer and we’d really appreciate your help. We have a range of opportunities so keep checking our website.
We are currently looking for a trustee to head up our fundraising.
We need “your” stories – sharing your experience can really make a difference and provide hope and inspiration for patients and their carers please take the time and consider sharing yours.

That depends on the reason you have chosen to volunteer. Many volunteers gain huge satisfaction out of making a difference. Your volunteering may also help you use existing skills or learn new ones, as well as meet new people and gain confidence. You may also gain valuable work experience for your CV.
Volunteers are welcome to get involved with as many or as few different types of volunteering that they are interested in.
As much as you want and are able to give.
In general the skills, we most need are enthusiasm, commitment, and friendliness. Some roles may require certain skills and this will be made clear.
Most volunteer roles do not require any specific training although all volunteers are given a full briefing before they start.
Yes. You would be reimbursed for reasonable expenses that arise from volunteering, such as travel and refreshments.
Roles will involve an informal chat so you can find out more about what the opportunity involves.
