Leaving a Legacy
It can be easily overlooked but a donation of any amount would help us to continue our work transforming the lives of Islanders affected by a brain tumour diagnosis, including patients, partners, friends and family, no matter when the diagnosis was made.
Legacies are essential to the success of the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity. Our aim is to ensure that every patient in Jersey diagnosed with a brain tumour gets the help they need. There are many service providers in Jersey and it is often difficult to navigate these services especially at a time of great vulnerability.
We aim to ensure that every newly diagnosed patient is placed on the correct patient pathway with the right care plan and emotional and practical support.
How to leave a legacy in our Will
Jersey Brain Tumour Charity would always recommend that you use the services of a lawyer when you are seeking advice about drawing up a will. The lawyer will be able to provide advice on the different legal aspects and issues you face and make sure that you have made provision for all your beneficiaries including leaving a donation to charity. They will also ensure that your requests are all within the law.
