Hit for a six!!

We are thrilled and proud to announce that the Jersey Farmers Cricket Club have chosen us as their chosen charity for 2016!

The Farmers Cricket Club began in 1977 when an enthusiastic group of cricket loving farmers and friends got together to play evening friendlies when the potato digging season was over. As seasons came and went Farmers developed their fixture list, gradually replacing evening fixtures with weekend friendlies against local and visiting sides, and undertaking many tours to the other Channel Islands, England, France and even St Lucia.

With a new generation of younger players keen to play league cricket within the framework of Farmers CC the opportunity arose in 2009 for the Club to join forces with Caesareans CC and embrace competitive cricket jointly in a merged Club while preserving the best traditions of Farmers cricket.

The club has grown and prospered with a talented crop of young cricketers joining their ranks – helping them achieve success in many league and cup competitions. The future looks bright indeed for Farmers CC and with their support JBTC as well.

One of the many ways they will be supporting us this year is with their charity master-class match, which for more information can be found here:

We have more news on this and other events soon.
